Lisa Bassingthwaighte (Client Manager)
Lisa joined Accounting Professionals in January 2000 as a Trainee Accountant. Lisa has since completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) and is a Client/Team Manager. Lisa works closely with our business clients to ensure their plans are implemented successfully and achieving financial results.
Nick Fitzgerald (Client Manager)
Nick joined Accounting Professionals in November 2009 and brings strength from his experience in Public and Private Practice. He is a Chartered Accountant and has completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at Wollongong University. Nick has international experience as a Group Accountant for a private company in London, and currently specialises in business services, helping clients see success on every level.
Melanie Barton (Accountant)
Melanie Barton joined Accounting Professionals in July 2009 and is a client manager. Melanie comes to us with 4 years practical work experience and completed a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at the University of Wollongong in 2009. Melanie is currently studying to become a Chartered Accountant. Melanie is our MYOB Certified Consultant.
Nadia Hoang (Accountant)
Nadia joined Accounting Professionals in February 2007 as a Trainee Accountant and completed her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Wollongong in 2008. Nadia is currently studying to become a Chartered Accountant. Nadia works in Taxation and Accounting Services as well as Business Analysis and Monitoring.
Korinne Cook (Assistant Accountant)
Korinne joined Accounting Professionals in January 2006 and is currently completing a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) at the Charles Sturt Univeristy. Korinne’s main focus within Accounting Professionals is Accounting and Taxation Compliance work.
Antonia Divito (Assistant Accountant)
Antonia joined Accounting Professionals in January 2008 and is currently completing her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at the University of Wollongong. Antonia’s focus within Accounting Professionals is self managed superannuation fund work as well as audit, accounting and taxation compliance work for clients.
Teigan Van De Voorde (Assistant Accountant)
Teigan joined Accounting Professionals in January 2008 and is currently completing her Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Wollongong. Teigan works in Accounting and Taxation Services and completes tax returns, activity statements and year end financial statements for clients.
Ashleigh Bourke (Trainee Accountant)
Ashleigh joined Accounting Professionals in January 2009 and is currently in her second year at the University of Wollongong studying a Bacehlor of Commerce in Accounting. Ashleigh can assist with Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements. With a background in retail, Ashleigh is well able to assist our business clients.
Samantha Brown (Trainee Accountant)
Samantha joined Accounting Professionals in July 2009 and is currently completing her Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting at the University of Wollongong. She works in Accounting and Taxation services, as well as Audit and Self-Managed Super Funds.
Mark Jones (Trainee Accountant)
Mark joined Accounting Professionals in August 2009. He is currently in his second year of a Bachelor of Commerce degree at University Of Wollongong, where he is studying Accountancy and Business Law. Mark has experience with a multinational engineering firm in England before he migrated to Australia in 2006. Mark works with the business advisory services team.
Wendy Troughton (Receptionist)
Wendy has been with Accounting Professionals since 2007. She is the voice on the end of the phone when you contact Accounting Professionals. Lauren’s smiling face will greet you when you next visit our office and she is able to assist with tax office enquiries.
Angela Kawalek (Administration)
Angela assists Wendy in answering our phones and has been with Accounting Professionals since 2000. Angela helps with the smooth running of our office and is able to assist with tax office enquiries. Angela is also part of our Business Services Team along with Mark Jones.
Brooke Burton (Administration)
Brooke has been with Accounting Professionals since 2006 and has expertise with company database information through ASIC and the ATO. Brooke is involved in the smooth day to day operations of our office with oversight of our technical systems. Brooke also provides administration support to Garry Pinch. She assists him with marketing, debtors, work flow and his dealings with clients. She will also assist his team that consists of Lisa Bassingthwaighte, Nick Fitzgerald, Jacqueline Carnevale, Brendan Neall and Mark Jones.
Sharon Richens (Administration)
Sharon has been with Accounting Professionals since 1996. Sharon provides administration support to Angela Hales. She assists her with office safety and human resources issues, payroll, debtors, work flow and her dealings with clients. She will also assist her team that consists of Lisa Bassingthwaighte, Nadia Hoang, Ashleigh Bourke and Korinne Cook.
Kathryn Van Gogh (Administration)
Kathryn started with Accounting Professionals in September 2010. She provides administration support to Mark Placek. She assists him with the office KPIs, debtors, work flow and his dealings with clients. She will also assist his team that consists of Melanie Barton, Teigan Van De Voorde, Antonia Divito and Samantha Brown.
